Always relaxed and always in a great pose, Va Bene has the highest level of balance in all basic gaits, which he implements in an exemplary manner under the rider. Talent for the Gathering Lessons seems innate in him.
Right from the start, Va Bene had remarkable sporting successes! Excellent 50 day test in Schlieckau with 8.59. Victorious in tests for riding horses with grades up to 9.0.5yr. the qualification for the Bundeschampionat and nomination for the 2nd World Championship sighting.
6 years Victory in the qualification for the Bundeschampionat with 8.7 and nomination and participation in the World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo for the German team. However, almost more important for his importance as a breeding stallion is Va Bene’s extraordinary heredity!Top auctions and numerous winning foals at foal championships nationwide make Va Bene one of the most sought-after and most frequented dressage stallions!
Father Veneno was a finalist in the Bundeschampionat of German riding horses in 2015, successful under Kristy Oatley S*** and with her daughter Rose Oatley 2022 European Junior Team Champion in Hartpury!
Va Bene’s dam Passion is a full sister to Preziosa, the Bundeschampionesse of four-year-old German riding horses in 2009.
Her father Belissimo M was also Bundeschampion of German riding horses, fifth place at the World Championships, Vice-Bundeschampion of dressage horses and internationally successful for Australia in the Grand Prix arena. Belissimo is now the father of several Bundeschampions, 61 licensed sons and around 100 successful advanced level dressage horses. In 2018 he was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year.
Grandfather Piaster wrote Bavarian breeding history from the Wadenspanner breeding farm.
Vega's dam is by Callahos Benicio. “A great moment” was how commentator Christoph Hess described CALLAHO ́SBENICIO’s performance at the 2011 German Championships for six-year-old dressage horses, for which the judges gave the dream marks of 10.0 for trot and walk, 9.5 for overall impression and 9.0 for canter. This meant that the title could not be taken away from him.
BENICIO then went one better at his 30-day test in Schlieckau: he received the maximum score of 10.0 a total of ten times. The weighted final score of 9.14 meant the clear victory. The dressage final score added up to a 9.88, which has never been achieved before. With an 8.43, the final score was also impressive. The resulting stallion performance test breeding score for dressage is a brilliant 167.
In sport, he is known by the name CALLAHO ́S BENICIO. Here he can now point to series victories in the advanced class up to Grand Prix level. Among other things, he finished second in a qualification for the Nuremberg Burgpokal.
Vega is spectacular to watch in the paddock. She has magnificent paces. She is initially a shy foal but once she has worked out that you are the supplier of food and scratches she is friendly and curious. She is available to the discerning dressage rider.
