Floss is by the 2015 KWPN Champion stallion Franklin!

Franklin is an extremely interesting champion stallion by the popular and internationally recognized Ampére. Franklin won both the 2013 KWPN licensing and 50 Day 2013 KWPN performance test. In the performance test, he scored 9.5's for his canter and self carriage, and 9.0's for suppleness, rideability and dressage potential. He then went on to win the 5 yr. old championship at the 2015 KWPN national stallion show in s' Hertogenbosch under Spanish rider Severo Jurardo Lopez. He was rewarded a 9.5 for his trot, 8.0 for walk, and 8.5's for canter, rideability and general impression.

Franklin's offspring show a high dressage potential and several have inherited his beautiful expression and great movement with active hind legs and a strong topline. Several of his offspring have sold for top prices at auction including DWB Champion dressage filly, Faretti, who sold for 150,000 euros and was named DWB Filly of the Year in 2017.  Her full sister, Farreti II was sold for top price at auction in 2018. Another successful filly is DWB Champion Dressage Filly, Francisca Lightfoot. Franklin's first crop of sons have been approved with Kadans becoming the reserve champion of the 2018 KWPN licensing.

Ampere had a resounding eight approved sons in 2014 in Holland, Westfalen and Holstein. Ampére was champion stallion at the 2008 KWPN licensing and later on, he won the stallion test (walk 8.0, trot 9.0, canter 9.5 and rideability 9.0).

Ampere's sire, Rousseau, won silver at the 2003 world championships for young horses in Verden  and has been able to present the champion stallion in Holland three times in a row.

Franklin's dam line includes two of Holland's major breeding magnates, Ferro and Flemmingh.

Floss’ dam is the magnificent GrandView Bling It On who is a beautiful mare through and through.  She has beautiful paces and a beautiful temperament to go with it.

Her sire, Callahos Benicio is nothing short of spectacular.

"A great moment" is how Christoph Hess, the commentator, described the presentation of Callaho’s Benicio in 2011 at the Bundeschampionat in the class for six-year old dressage horses, for which the judges actually awarded the dream score of 10.0 for his trot and walk, a 9.5 for overall impression and a 9.0 for his canter. With these results, the title could not be taken from the dark chestnut stallion.

Later on, at his 30-day test in Schlieckau, Callaho’s Benicio even topped those results: There he received a 10.0 for his walk trot and canter. All in all, he received the highest possible score ten times. His weighted final score of 9.14 meant a clear victory. His final score with emphasis on dressage added up to 9.88 (predicted breeding value for dressage: 167 points) and with these results, Callaho’s Benicio even exceeded the record result of his sire, Belissimo M, when he took his test in Zweibrücken in 2002 with a final score of 9.63.

After Callaho’s Benicio was licensed in 2007 in Verden he was sold to South Africa. His new owners sent him back to Germany in 2010 to be ridden by Anna-Sophie Fiebelkorn.

His dam, St.Pr.St. Valencia, placed in tests for young riding horses and won high prizes at the German Broodmare Show as well as the Ratje-Niebuhr Show. The dam line is also the origin of the Grand Prix dressage horses Magnus and Maestro as well as an advanced (S) level show jumper named Exot.

Benicio's sire Belissimo M's every appearance is a triumph: top horse at the 24th NRW Elite Riding Horse Auction, record winner of his 30-day test in Zweibrücken – 1st place in dressage (9.63) as well as in jumping (8.77)! Undisputed winner of the Riding Horse Championships in Verden. Radiant Bundeschampion of four year old riding stallions 2003 in Warendorf. With a score of 9.38 he was the clear winner of a qualification in his class for the final round at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden 2004. Vice Bundeschampion of six year old dressage horses 2005 in Warendorf; after clearly leading in the final qualification (9.2) he just barely missed winning.

His foals catch everyone’s eye because of their well-balanced, beautiful type, the harmonious shape of their bodies and the quality of their movements. Just a few weeks ago, Belissimo passed his test as a stallion-maker with flying colors: not less than eleven sons were admitted to the approvals in Verden, Vechta and Münster-Handorf and of these, ten were licensed and four received a premium – two each in Hanover and Westphalia!

Floss is fancy…..she has the most beautiful conformation and an in your face temperament…..she is a beautiful red bay with 4 white socks.  She will be super fancy in the dressage arena and she will lap up the attention. Available now to a great competition home.
